Sharron Berry was co-opted onto vestry and appointed as secretary.
In June we (our parish) is going to offer soup at noon on Fridays in the Hub – we would love you to come and join us. If you would like to make a soup please tell Val or Sandra.
Month of June is when we celebrate the life of Wiremu Tamihana – the local Kai-A-Te-Mata Marae has invited us to join them for the morning service. We will still have our 8.30am service but our 10am will be at the marae. We need to be there by 9.30am for the powhiri. Transport from St Matthews is available. I do hope many of us will be able to attend. It will be an Anglican communion service followed by lunch.
The Hub needs to an uplift/ to be redesigned and a subcommittee has been appointed to gather ideas and explore options – if you would like to send in comments please email the church office, attention Rodney.
